The Away Foundation is a non-profit Community Interest Company (CIC) that promotes openness, innovation and participation in and around freely available software resources.

The main aim of the Away Foundation is the continued management, funding and development of the free, open source software resources under its control, with focus on improving production workflows and end-user experience for graphics-based games and applications on the web and mobile devices.

Work within The Away Foundation is enabled by corporate sponsorship and the continued support of a large community of individuals and organisations.
